Kathleen Walsh has been serving children with developmental disabilities in Maricopa County since 1996. In 1997 she founded a private practice and has served hundreds of children with special needs in the East Valley and Central Phoenix Metro area.
Over the past 10 years she has been an active member of the state, regional, and national music therapy associations. She has built a strong relationship with Arizona State University – School of Music, Music Therapy Department serving as a mentor, teacher, Faculty Associate, and internship supervisor.
She has extensive experience working with multiple disciplines and has formed an eclectic loving approach to addressing the needs of the children she serves. Her dedication to celebrating the uniqueness and astonishing qualities of each individual she encounters is evident in every interaction.
As a strong member of her community and profession, Kathleen draws from her experiences to cultivate growth for L.I.F.E. through her ability to relate and learn from each child, parent, family, and professional.
